AvaBet review: licence, M-Pesa and slots for Kenyan players

AvaBet is listed with a licence from Anjouan; it is not Kenyan. It lists M-Pesa for deposits and Kenyan shillings as an account currency.

Below: the licence and payment facts and what they mean in Kenya, the welcome offer in shillings where its terms are on record, and the slots we list from its studios (Pragmatic Play, Habanero, Amatic, Arrow's Edge and 2 By 2 Gaming).

Our verdict: The pick here for the widest choice of slots from the studios we list, with M-Pesa and Kenyan shillings. It is new (2024) and licensed in Anjouan, and Airtel Money is not in its deposit list.

AvaBet: pros and cons for Kenyan players

What we like

  • M-Pesa deposits In its deposit list.
  • Largest lobby from our studios More of the slots we list come from its tagged studios than at any other site we review.
  • Kenyan shilling account KES is in its currency list.

Worth knowing

  • New and licensed in Anjouan Founded 2024 with an Anjouan licence, a newer and lighter-touch regulator than Curacao or Malta.
  • Mobile-money withdrawals unconfirmed No M-Pesa or Airtel Money withdrawal route is listed; check the cashier.
  • No Kenyan licence Licensed in Anjouan, so disputes go to that regulator, not the Gambling Regulatory Authority.

AvaBet: questions from Kenya

Is AvaBet legal in Kenya?

AvaBet accepts Kenyan players, but we found no Kenyan licence listed for it; it is licensed in Anjouan. Kenyan law licenses online casinos through the Gambling Regulatory Authority, and a dispute with an offshore site goes to its own regulator.

Can I deposit with M-Pesa at AvaBet?

Yes, M-Pesa is in its deposit list. No mobile-money withdrawal route is listed, so check the cashier before depositing.

Does AvaBet have Kenyan shilling accounts?

Yes, KES is in its currency list.

Which slots does AvaBet have?

Of the studios we list, it offers Pragmatic Play, Habanero, Amatic, Arrow's Edge and 2 By 2 Gaming. The lobby section lists their slots with the RTP we list.

Is tax deducted from my winnings?

Since 1 July 2026 operators licensed in Kenya withhold 20% of winnings. This casino is licensed offshore; check its terms for how it treats Kenyan tax.
